Kansas Could Land Biggest Private Sector Investment in State History: What They Say
TOPEKA – Governor Laura Kelly and Lt. Gov. David Toland are urging quick action to pass an economic development bill that could help Kansas land the biggest private sector investment in state history. The project would create 4,000 new jobs in Kansas and inject $4 billion in business investment into the Kansas economy. Legislation known as the Attracting Powerful Economic Expansion Act (APEX) continues to receive a wide range of bipartisan support from business and community leaders across the state.
